VANN DUKE MEET SAMMY

Before I met the better half of the comedy team, I was writing in the dark, I was studying show business, arts and entertainment also going to school and doing home work. when my mother bought my first sammy around 7 or 8th grade, for sure it was during my middle school years, I tell you the truth, my life completely changed, because I have become major Anthony Nelson that was lost on a island until he found a Jeannie in a bottle. in school my classes changed to wood shop, drama class, English composition, creative writing, graphic arts, band and anything to do with educating me with my show business career.it was difficult seeing hope on ink and paper but when I can see hope sitting in front of me, life became worth living.....

 (KEEPING IT IN THE FAMILY)

As I learned the art of ventriloquism, I spend a lot of time with SAMMY,rehearsal,practice and creating with him,my friends seemed to fade away and girls were not a favorite anymore,I still was a hustler but not much just small odd clicks here and there,most of my time was with sammy. I did shows for family holidays and friends parties.

right next door to my house I grow up in was a vacant lot, before it was vacant,it a very small apartment building the owner decided to knock it down and build a day care center preschool. during construction I,yes middle school me was digging dirt with a shovel,it was not easy work but for a middle school age boy the cash in hand from the owner was,cool!.besides my house was next door and the owner Mr.Jackson was good people,my mom would chat with Mr.Jackson over the wall, my house had a front fence and walls around it,the wall separated the houses and properties. when Mr.Jackson open the preschool for business, I did some regular children shows with sammy over there at the preschool. so my mother told me I had some messages on her answering machine ( answering machine before smartphone and social media) from people asking for vann duke and sammy, I did not believe her so she play the messages for me to hear, the messages were from the parents of kids at the preschool next door booking vann duke and sammy for their kids birthday party,clearly understand, that vann duke and sammy would do story time at Mr.Jackson preschool next door and the kids would go home and talk to their parents about vann duke and sammy. my mother answering machine became my Secretary, vann duke and sammy was off and running down the yellow brick road and and and (taking a deep breath) has been running ever since.

GRAPE KOOL AID AND GUMBO
