COMEDIAN ROBIN HARRIS

Becoming the legal adult age was a long waiting to start my adult entertainer career,it was time to enter the real world of show business.I hit the night clubs with sammy to get my foot prints on the adult entertainment road.in the 1980s night clubs were every where,jazz clubs,dance clubs,live entertainment bars,blues clubs,singles clubs.I had a regular spot at a live entertainment bar club in los,Angeles California called the "the name of the game" on western avenue.my girlfriend at the time would come watch me and sammy sometimes,because her and her bff get in the club for free because of me but when she found out comedian robin Harris was performing at the club she brought all of friends,I didn't know who robin Harris was at the time,I asked my girlfriend,she said somethings to me that I should have known but I was new to the adult entertainment world.on the first night of robin Harris show at the name of the game it was jammed pack in the club and out side the club of cars and people.so robin Harris is getting ready to introduce me and sammy as I walk up to the stage with sammy,robin Harris start capping on Sammy,I was like OUCH! punch! punch! and more punchlines from robin Harris,I don't know this comedian but he's coming for sammy,not vann duke just sammy,ok this comedian wants to battle,but I have not study him,so I stepped back and let sammy go like a wild dog,the audience is eating this shit up,robin walk away to take sip from his glass as sammy is capping back and throwing punches then robin Harris come back at sammy punch, punch, after punchlines,here Sammy is in a battle with a heavyweight champion of the world trying not to get TKO!,all my study,all my training,all my practicing,all that rehearsing went into use on this unexpected night.this went on a few times,that robin Harris manager gave me stage time at Gerald deans night club where robin Harris and Lewis dix was performing for one night.when I came off stage at Jerald dean's robin Harris manager said to me,I will never ever ever forget theses words..."you looked more comfortable up on stage tonight than I seen you other nights" I didn't say a word to that statement but I will now....sir it's because I was not in a comedy battle with a hungry lion"..I think robin Harris saw this young ventriloquist at the name of the game night club as a challenge.after I did some study on robin Harris I was ready for him at Gerald deans but he treated me with so much respect,he was quiet but present,his manager did most of the talking to me,and robin Harris just was listening.I am very proud of sammy going toe to toe in the comedy battle with robin Harris at the name of the game,not our style of comedy but I know of the style.studying this legend of comedy just for his next attack maybe at Gerald deans educated me on his fame and success.was I afraid in the comedy battle,well after I saw it was all about sammy,yes,because you don't want to be known as the ventriloquist robin Harris TKO, so sammy got some good punches in,my thing was,in the art of comedy you need to know about the subject,every body knew of robin Harris but me at the time,I mean a year before this,I am doing birthday parties,schools,etc,and now sammy and I are standing toe to toe with a comedy giant in a packed room full people, you got to be fucking kidding me!!...comedian robin Harris died in his sleep (BE BE KIDS) (HOUSE PARTY) (HARLEM NIGHTS).vann duke and sammy mourn on that very day of hearing the news.vann and sammy and the royal kingdom presents production company will always remember: COMEDIAN ROBIN HARRIS...R.I.P.
