THE TICKET

(ghostwriter giggles) I giggle and my eyes roll with the thought of writing...I need to write on the tittle subject,but I really don't need to write on the subject "THE TICKET" so I will write quickly...what is the meaning of "THE TICKET" in urban terms it means the way to a better life, to make an escape,the TICKET in to out...the ticket is surely a winning situation for losing circumstances,for an example, scholarships are "THE TICKET"  any kind of diploma is "THE TICKET, gambling to win is "THE TICKET" getting paid as a performing artist is "THE TICKET" a career is "THE TICKET" big crime business is "THE TICKET" marriage is "THE TICKET"....let's be clear the ticket is not just based on money, even getting in a rehab facility is "THE TICKET" for someone addicted...even becoming a member of a church is "THE TICKET"...every one has a different ticket and that ticket is valuable...is THE ticket for just poor people,NO, Kobe Bryant was "THE TICKET" for the Los Angeles Lakers, boxing promoter Don king had Mike Tyson...some wives have husbands as the ticket and some husbands have wives that are the "THE TICKET"....agents are always hoping for "THE TICKET" I have learned that if you ever get the "THE TICKET" hold on to it tight as you can and run and run and don't look back!

when I was a opening act for a band of musicians with my ventriloquist act my manager would keep a list of every time I was on stage. In show business everything counts, even your social media account matter, even being a movie extra matter... making low budget films if you are a actor is a start for a actor that wants to be in the movie business, singing on social media is a good way to start a career as a singer, talent shows are a good way to start a career for ventriloquists, magicians,dancers, this also includes the television talent shows and television contests,but first you need to make a paper trail and on that paper is ever time you entertained. do doing shows for family and friends count?,it counts only if it was a prepared show, a show you practice and did rehearsals for and the show you were  performing at was a family and friends event, such as family reunions, weddings, sweetsixteen, birthday parties, holiday celebration,etc..I truly believe we all should start with family and friends,I started with family and friends, me and Sammy did a Christmas show at my uncle's house next to the big Christmas tree, all cousins, aunt's,grandma,  grandpa, wives, husbands, in-laws, brothers, children, everyone! would go to my uncle's house for Christmas celebration! even visiting from out of state,from Texas to California and me and Sammy would be there every Christmas with a new comedy show!!! 
it was all Christmas themes,singing songs, and telling a Christmas story and also Vann duke and Sammy had plenty of jokes..so maybe you are not a ventriloquist like me, maybe you are a dancer and your dreams are some day to be a dancer in show business,it is wise to start out your show performances with your family and friends,and when your brother and sister says your dance at the family get together was terrible,don't cry, don't get angry,ask questions, ask what didn't you like about the dance routine I did or why was it terrible,take notes from your family and friends opinions of all your shows performances at your family get together if they have any.practice and study on what your family and friends noticed about your performances ,then you have all year to work on it,then at your next year family get together, you will bring them another show better than last year.and if your family and friends say that you are a great entertainer just remember there's always room for improvement....
remember singer Michael Jackson was always rehearsing and practicing, I have met famous comedians at comedy clubs doing new material on stage before going on a comedy tour, so even after you graduate from the family and friends audience, you will still need to grow and improve your craft.
