When I was a amateur ventriloquist the dj or sound man would put two microphones on stage for me and one for sammy,I didn't understand at first but truly learned the big picture of doing it,of course who knows best but a sound man or dj so now I think it's real cool when both ventriloquist and partner have separate microphones.
