U.S.O. SHOWS #vanndukeandsammyautobiography

during some time in my years in high school I went to a audition for the U.S.O. SHOWS, the audition was in Hollywood California in a large room with two men sitting at a long table watching and judging your act. The USO is a organization that provides live entertainment for the United States military all over the world. comedian/actor Mr.Bob hope was a member of the USO shows for many many years. The USO shows has been around for decades and many famous entertainers has joined.when I audition for the USO shows,I was asked to come back for a second audition.in my experience in second auditions,this means that they need a second opinion,meaning the two judges needed a third judge,meaning one judge said no and one judge said yes.on my second audition for the USO shows me and sammy was signed on for USO shows, meaning I won the audition,meaning the judges said YES!.now I have found my ticket out!!! me and sammy can travel all over the world doing shows for the United States military personnel and troops,I just could not stop telling my family and friends,it was a dream come true! my ticket out the ghetto,never seeing my mother and Marcel,Rome,Michael and school again,I realized I was too young for this ticket.I continued on my show business grind with sammy and burned the USO ticket out of the ghetto.

JUST ADD WATER

I Have a mischievous smile on my face as I write this note to the reader.you may wonder how can being a ventriloquist help you out side showbiz,some of us don't want to be a performer,well just imagine running into your bosses office with your phone in your hand and a voice coming out of the phone saying " help! I falling and I can't get up!" you tell your boss you're leaving work to go save grandma!,now you have a good excuse for leaving work early unless your boss says she's going with you to help grandma,of course the voice that is coming from the phone is you doing the "ventriloquist telephone act" but you can always hang up the phone and do your ventriloquist phone act calling grandma back to say she's o.k...I remember as a teenager doing my ventriloquist telephone act for the first time at the dinner table with my family sitting eating,my lil brother knew about the act but my mother and older brothers really believe the voice was coming out...
