MARLA'S MEMORY LANE NIGHTCLUB

during my nightclub performances days Marla's memory lane nightclub is a night club I enjoyed very much,the club is owned by actress tv star marla Gibbs who I have never met.The marla's memory lane night club was a nice environment for a entertainer.I was a ventriloquist surrounded by singers and musicians,I was fresh out of high school ready to pursue my dreams in the adult world of night club entertainers.at the marla's memory lane nightclub the stage was ground level,lined up with the seating audience,I am thinking of it as I write this blog and it was wonderful! the marla's memory lane nightclub was in the heart of los Angeles California but on the inside of the night club it look like a classy upscale joint.I miss those days of the nightclub gigs,those are some wonderful experiences I will always remember,but times has changed in America,and nightclubs are not as popular as when I was growing up as a young child.so you ask what was the night club like?thank you for asking youngster,it's simple to explain,back in the 1940s-50-60s-70s-80s a nightclub is where grown folks went out to dance,drink,eat,and enjoy live entertainment,a night club is not bar,it was a full adult establishment,a place where mom and dad hired a baby sitter to go out for the night,and I must say no a nightclub is not a comedy club,big difference and I found that out later as a ventriloquist.

do you need a manager or agent? some amateurs entertainers might want some advice on that question and I will write with a ghostwriter poker face with my experience on the question.
