INVESTMENT (VANN DUKE AND SAMMY AUTOBIOGRAPHY)

You may think that money from your shows is your spending money but what I have learned from my live performance shows was the money I made was investment for my next gig.being a ventriloquist in show business it takes money to make money.sure you can put some in your pockets of course "pay you first" always pay into your business too,that is your ventriloquist act.I was poor as I started out as a ventriloquist so after I get paid for a show I would go shopping for sammy at the goodwill or swapmeet,I also found some good stage equipment at the pawn shops.being a ventriloquist you should make a investment in your lil stage partner,such as clothing,touch up,repairs,upgrades.treat your ventriloquist figures as if they are your children or employees.you can also do the care and maintenance on your ventriloquist figure yourself if you are in the amateur ventriloquist stage of your career.investment is not only money,investment can be time and time is just what a amateur ventriloquist needs.professional and semi pro or amateur ventriloquists should always invest in their craft.improving your act is always a good thing it's a investment in yourself.

Dolls, dummies, puppets, voices, magic,writing, arts and crafts..sounds like a children class..  wright?..no, this is not child play,it's business,but
what's more weird is adding a bicycle,yes, you are an adult but your home looks like a child's bed room,dolls! dummies! costumes! and bicycles!..yes the bicycle..INVESTING in a bicycle is smart way to bring your funding up for show business career..if you have a real job in the real world,ride a bicycle to work, if you do not have very far to travel, a bicycle will save you so much money from the use of a automobile , take that automobile money to invest in your show business ventriloquist career, a bicycle will save you so much money from the use of public transportation..the bicycle is also a investment in your health,after you have raised your funding for your ventriloquist show business career then you can return back to the automobile or public transportation..I suggest that you stay focused on your ventriloquist investment when riding your bicycle,meaning not getting distracted with other people.ride and stay focused on the goal.

if you are a ventriloquist working at a real job in the real world, every year you have investment money for your ventriloquist career..at the end of the year you should get a tax refund..during the year put aside a small amount of money,let's say ten dollars out of each pay check,let's say you get paid twice a month from your real job in the real world, that's twenty dollars a month adding up to $240 for a year, at the end of the year add the aside money with your tax refund money, take this money to put into your ventriloquist career..this investment is a small involvement for a big joy, let me explain, at a real job in the real world you take vacations, some vacations you get paid some you do not get paid but if you do get paid add it to your aside and tax refund money, every year during your vacation you have funds for your ventriloquist career, taking that time off for your show time, for fun or profit, it take time to plan an event anyway,so during the year, the funding and arrangements are being made,the date is set, the material is being written, you and your ventriloquist figures are practicing and rehearsals are scheduled,and finally a year has passed and you are ready!...it's a investment that you can afford every year, and for sure you are the star of your very own show can say..see you next year.
