THE DRINKING AND SINGING TRICK

One night me and sammy were performing on stage at a famous comedy club.in the front row of the stage was a wide eyes young man,he was amazed at seeing Vann duke and sammy and waited inpatient to see vann duke and sammy live on stage.my act this night was Sammy would do a hip hop rap song while I drink from a cup,on stage sitting next to me on a portable table is a water bottle and cup,I poured the water from the water bottle into the cup,picking up the cup sammy begin his hip hop rap song,I take the cup of water and drink it slowly while sammy is doing his rap song,I then take the cup from my mouth and turn the cup upside down to show the audience that the cup is empty.when I walk off stage the young man approaches me and sammy with  joy and wondering,he was wondering if the water went into the cup,yes I told him....he wanted to know how was the trick done but knew it was not nice and respectful to ask....in my days as a live performer I spent a lot of time at the Hollywood magic store on Hollywood boulevard in Hollywood California,today it's not there,I miss it,but I really want to to tell the young man how my drinking and singing at the same time is done,dear magicians and pro ventriloquists please forgive me for giving this secret away...young man read below for the secret answer to your wonder.......

1.SLUSH POWDER is a powder that turn water solid in about ten seconds........#2.use a none see threw cup.......#3.put about two teaspoons of slush powder at the bottom of the cup....#4.pour water into the cup,then in your mind count to ten,then take a big swallow...#5.turn the cup upside down and the water will not come out,giving the illusion that the water has disappeared and the cup is empty....(p.s: well, young man, thank you for interested in vann duke and sammy,that was many many many years ago but I can still see your puzzled face expression.most magicians and ventriloquist would have probably left you guessing how the trick is done but I am retired from the stage and no longer use it.
